The Sephora Savings Event 2026 is live for Rouge members now and opens to everyone on November 3. Here’s what each tier gets, why your code might not work, and which celebrity-used products are worth buying on sale versus swapping for a cheaper alternative.

Sephora Savings Event 2026 dates and discounts by tier

The table below follows Sephora’s own Savings Event FAQ page (read Oct 31, 2026), and the details match NBC Select (Oct 30, 2026) and Forbes (Oct 30, 2026). If Sephora changes its terms, its page is what counts.

What time does the Sephora sale start?

Sephora’s FAQ gives dates, not an hour: Rouge from Friday, Oct 30, and VIB and Insider from Tuesday, Nov 3. We couldn’t find an official start time, so if the code fails early on Nov 3, try again later that day. The event runs through Monday, Nov 9. For buy online, pick up in store orders, Sephora says you get your tier discount as long as you place the order by Nov 9.

How long is the Sephora sale?

Rouge gets 11 days (Oct 30 to Nov 9). VIB and Insider members get 7 days (Nov 3 to Nov 9).

Is the Sephora sale only for the Sephora brand?

No. Your tier discount (20%, 15% or 10%) applies to eligible items from all brands. Only the 30% offer is limited to Sephora Collection. Sephora’s FAQ says you can’t put both discounts on the same item, but you can use your tier discount on other brands and get 30% off Sephora Collection in the same order.

Sephora sale code not working? Check these first

• Wrong dates for your tier. VIB and Insider codes won’t work before Nov 3.
• Excluded items. Sephora’s FAQ excludes in-store services, previous purchases, gift cards and Same-Day Unlimited subscriptions, plus packaging, taxes and shipping.
• Per-SKU limits. You can buy up to 2 of each Dyson item, 3 of each Shark Beauty item and 3 of each The Ordinary item per transaction (Sephora FAQ).
• Another discount in the cart. Sephora says the event discount can’t be combined with a Rouge Reward or the Sephora Credit Card first-purchase discount. It does work with Sephora Credit Card Rewards and the event’s gift-with-purchase offers.
• Shopping Sephora at Kohl’s. On kohls.com, the Sephora Collection 30% offer uses its own code, SCSAVE, per Sephora’s FAQ.

Celebrity-used products worth buying on sale (and cheaper alternatives)

Each celebrity below has said on the record, in an interview, a video or a brand announcement, that they use the product. We flag when a celebrity owns the brand or has a deal with it. Sources date from 2021 to 2026, so routines may have changed. Prices are Sephora US list prices from Oct 2026 listings. Some product pages didn’t show a price to our checker, so confirm the price on the page before you buy. Our comparisons are based on published ingredient lists, specs and listed prices, not hands-on use.

1. Tatcha The Camellia Oil 2-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser (Dakota Johnson)

In a 2026 InStyle interview, Johnson said, “I’ll always use an oil cleanser, like the Tatcha Camelia Oil, to just get all the makeup off” (InStyle via Yahoo, 2026). As far as we could find, she has no partnership with Tatcha. Our full Dakota Johnson skincare routine covers the rest of her picks.

Sephora price: $50 for 5 oz / 150 ml at Sephora (checked Oct 2026). Estimated VIB price: about $42.50.

Cheaper alternative: Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil, $9.99 for 4 fl oz at Target. Both are oil cleansers meant to dissolve makeup. Tatcha lists rice bran oil and camellia seed oil among its first five ingredients (Tatcha). Neutrogena’s is mineral-oil based and lists camellia leaf extract last. It’s sold as “unscented” but lists fragrance, so skip it if you avoid fragrance.

2. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream (Gigi Hadid)

In a February 2021 Vogue video, Hadid called it “the moisturizer that I just started using and I’m really loving it” (The Zoe Report, 2021). The sources we checked mention no paid deal with Dr. Jart+. See our Gigi Hadid skincare routine breakdown for more.

Sephora price: $52 for 1.7 oz at Sephora (checked Oct 2026; past listings ranged from $48 to $52). Estimated VIB price: about $44.20.

Cheaper alternative: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, $14.99 at CeraVe. Both are ceramide barrier creams. Sephora’s listing says Ceramidin has five ceramides plus panthenol. CeraVe lists three ceramides, hyaluronic acid and petrolatum, so it’s a reasonable budget choice for dry skin. It’s a different formula.

3. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Kate Hudson)

In a British Vogue video, Hudson called it “the best product right now” and said “It smells awesome,” as quoted by HollywoodLife (2023). Kendall Jenner also showed it in a Vogue bag video, per the same article. Dakota Johnson has said she likes Laneige for lips but didn’t name a product. The source mentions no Laneige deal for Hudson.

Sephora price: $24 at Sephora (some flavors $25, and sizes vary by flavor; checked Oct 2026). Estimated VIB price: about $20.40.

Cheaper alternative: e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Lip Mask, $8 for 0.15 oz at Target. The tube is much smaller, so the price per ounce isn’t lower. Laneige lists shea butter, murumuru butter, coconut oil and vitamin C (Laneige). e.l.f. uses hyaluronic acid, squalane and castor oil. Both are overnight lip masks, but the formulas differ. 4. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (Kendall Jenner)

In a Vogue India video (YouTube), Jenner used this concealer in her everyday routine. HollywoodLife (2023) reports she said that “when I find something I love, I stick to it.” The source mentions no NARS deal for her.

Sephora price: $36 for 0.22 oz at Sephora (checked Oct 2026; an older listing showed $32). Estimated VIB price: about $30.60.

Cheaper alternative: e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer, $8 for 0.203 fl oz at Target. Both are creamy liquid concealers in a similar-size tube. e.l.f. markets a satin finish with full coverage and includes sodium hyaluronate. NARS is sold as medium, buildable coverage. Shade ranges differ, so match your shade before you buy.

5. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush (Selena Gomez, her own brand)

Rare Beauty is Gomez’s own brand, so she has a financial interest. Her using it is not independent evidence. She applied the liquid blush in an everyday makeup video she shared in February 2021 (Grazia).

Sephora price: $25 at Sephora (some shades listed at $16; checked Oct 2026). Estimated VIB price: about $21.25.

Cheaper alternative: e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush, $8 for 0.13 fl oz at Target. It’s a buildable liquid blush with a dewy finish, and the label lists sodium hyaluronate and vitamin E. Similar job, different formula.

6. YSL Libre Eau de Parfum (Dua Lipa, YSL brand partner)

Lipa has been the face of YSL’s Libre fragrances since 2019. That’s a commercial partnership, so her use isn’t independent evidence. She told Nylon, “I wear a little something every day!” The Libre she said she reaches for most is the newer L’Absolu Platine, not the original (Nylon, 2023).

Sephora price: from $38 for the 10 ml travel spray at Sephora, with larger sizes up to $225 (checked Oct 2026). For comparison, Ulta lists 1.6 oz at $150. Estimated VIB price on the travel spray: about $32.30.

Cheaper alternative: Dossier Floral Lavender, $29 for 50 ml. Dossier says it is “inspired by” Libre and not affiliated with YSL. Both list lavender, orange blossom, vanilla and musk. 7. Dyson Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler (Jisoo, paid ambassador)

When Dyson named Jisoo a hair care ambassador in 2024, she said she was excited to represent “Dyson Hair Care products, which I use daily” (Hypebae, 2024). This is a paid relationship, and the campaign featured the Airwrap without naming a model.

Sephora price: $649 at Sephora for the straight-to-wavy version (checked Oct 2026). Sephora limits Dyson items to 2 per SKU per transaction. Estimated VIB price: about $551.65.

Cheaper alternative: Shark FlexStyle (HD435), $349.99 at SharkNinja. It comes with two 1.25″ auto-wrap curlers, an oval brush, a diffuser and a concentrator, so it covers similar styling jobs. Is the dupe a better deal than the sale?

On price alone, yes. Even at Rouge’s 20% off, every original here still costs more than its alternative’s regular price. The sale is for buying the original you already want for less.

• Sale savings are small in dollars on cheaper items. 15% off the $24 Laneige mask saves about $3.60. The e.l.f. mask is $16 cheaper at full price, but it’s a much smaller tube.
• The big-ticket math is where it matters. 15% off the $649 Airwrap i.d. saves about $97. That still leaves it roughly $200 more than the Shark FlexStyle at full price.
• Fragrance per ml. At an estimated VIB price, the 10 ml Libre travel spray works out to about $3.23 per ml. Dossier’s 50 ml bottle is about $0.58 per ml.
• Six-item basket (excluding Dyson). Picks 1 to 6 total $225 at Sephora’s listed prices, or about $191.25 at an estimated VIB 15% off. The six alternatives total $77.98.

When to skip the sale: if you don’t already know you like the original, if you can’t use it up before it expires, or if the sale is the only reason you’re adding it to your cart. Stacking: per Sephora’s FAQ, the event discount works alongside Sephora Credit Card Rewards and the event’s gift-with-purchase offers, but not with a Rouge Reward or the credit card first-purchase discount. Sephora Collection gets its own 30%, not your tier discount on top of it. Can I stack the Sephora sale with other offers?

Partly. Sephora says the event discount combines with Sephora Credit Card Rewards and the event’s gift-with-purchase offers, but not with a Rouge Reward or the credit card first-purchase discount. You can’t add your tier discount on top of the 30% Sephora Collection offer, though both can apply in the same order.

How do I get VIB or Rouge status?

Beauty Insider is free. VIB takes $350 of spending in a calendar year, and Rouge takes $1,000.

Are the dupes the same as the celebrity products?
